Conversions 1

This was a 'conversion' of a rather tired old property; in a historic market town. The walls had been covered in hardboard and old plaster board; complete with 1970's and 80's 'features' of flock wall paper and Artex ceilings. Fitted out with green porcelain ware and ancient gas fires.

 

The conversion to a modern day dwelling revealed a wealth of period features! Including a lovely brick fireplace, beams and an exterior wall that could well have been quarried several hundred years ago from the Abbey ruin nearby...
