This was a conversion of a rather tired, old flint-constructed property,  in Bury St Edmunds. The walls had been covered in hardboard and old plaster board; complete with 1970's and 80's features of flocked wall paper and Artex ceilings. It was fitted out with green porcelain-ware and ancient gas fires.

We converted it to a fabulous, modern-day dwelling and revealed a wealth of period features.  These including a lovely brick fireplace, beams and an exterior wall that could well have been quarried several hundred years ago from the Abbey ruin nearby. We installed electrics, heating and new windows as well as carrying out repairs to the roof.
