This grade 2 listed building was restored to it's former glory following serious structural problems caused by previous owners having the walls rendered with concrete. We had to strip it back and then preserve the timber frame structure and wattle and daub. This involved inserting new sole plates and reinforcing the timber frame in a bespoke steel brace constructed by a local engineering firm. The customer was very happy with the result, and we even managed to preserve the jesters!
