We have begun a new project in Mendlesham. The property has problems with damp so we have installed French drains.

We are also removing the cement from the internal walls to enable them to breathe. Further updates to follow!

We are carrying out a complete overhaul of a Victorian cottage in Little Waldingfield. We will be fitting new slates, lead work and installing a GRP valley. A GRP valley is a cost-effective alternative to lead. They are made of glass-reinforced plastic, making them lightweight and flexible. They allow the safe run-off of water into the guttering.

Emil is in action laying a course of bricks at our Newton site. These will pick up internal studs.

Work is progressing well at our Elmsett site. Savolit boarding is now complete in preparation for lime plastering.

We are making great progress at our Elmsett site. The soleplates and frame are now all in. Next steps are the facing bricks and boarding followed by lime plastering.

We are forming brick arches at out Little Cornard site. Some arches can be entirely self-supporting, but others need methods of shoring and bracing them. They need to be supported throughout the entire construction process.

Works at Elmsett are coming along really well. The soleplates, upright oak beams and brickwork are almost all complete. It's looking great!

We were asked to repair a roof in Great Waldingfield, following wind damage that was done in the storms a few weeks ago. The roof was prepped ready for the GRP fibreglass finish.

Internal works have also begun and we will update you on these as we progress!

We have been building a bespoke pub in Nayland. Finishing touches have been done in the last few days, including wallpapering with this fantastic paper!
